Susan has been in the mortgage industry since 2006 and is presently a Loan Officer at Shelter Lending Services (formerly Fairfield Mortgage) working with the James Williamson / Robbie Crozier Mortgage Team. Susan loves that the mortgage business allows her to help her clients obtain the best mortgage for their situation. Susan is a proven professional who does whatever it takes to make sure her clients have a smooth and successful home financing experience.
Susan was born in Atlanta, but moved to Vero Beach, Florida, when she was three. Growing up in a small beach town gave her a sense of community and the importance of building relationships with everyone. Vero Beach was the Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and she remembers that March was always an exciting time of year with the Dodgers in town.
After earning a BBA degree in marketing at Georgia Southern University, she began her sales career in the jewelry industry and subsequently made a move into management with Family Christian Book Stores. During those years, Susan gained valuable customer service experience working with clients. She learned the importance of listening to customers, identifying needs, and finding a product that made them happy.
Susan is an active member of Norcross First United Methodist Church, a Stephen Ministry leader, and a Sunday School teacher of 4 & 5 year olds. It is amazing what one can learn from children. She also volunteers regularly at the Norcross Cooperative Ministry, which helps feed and clothe needy families. When she not working or volunteering, chances are you can find her on a tennis court or trying to grow the best tasting tomatoes possible.
